Education
I have a B.A. in English with a Minor in Psychology from Indiana University. My GPA was 3.1 as an undergraduate. I have a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Computer Information Systems from IU. My GPA in the certificate program was 3.82. In addition, I have an undergraduate certificate in Business Foundations from IU, and a few Masters level courses in Human-Computer Interaction from Iowa State (but I have not graduated, so those don't really count).
Experience
I was a technical writer at a software company for almost 3 years. I found out in that job that you can't teach someone a subject unless you really know it yourself. I've been tutoring people on my own for roughly the last five years, and I love to see the glow on people's faces when the lightbulb goes off. I've taken plenty of coursework on each of the subjects I signed up to tutor in, and feel confident that I can help anyone get their grades up relatively quickly, and, of course, if we aren't a match, the first session's on me.
Availability
Tues/Thurs after 6PM, Weekends in the morning, Monday after 7PM, Sunday in the afternoon

Hobbies
I am currently a user researcher at a software company that sells applications to governments (local, state, and federal). I don't get into the politics, but I love helping government be more transparent, as I believe everyone has a right to know what our elected officials are doing. I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, and most sports.
